The core mission of Delta Epsilon Iota is to educate students about career development and prepare them for life after school. Over the years, local chapters of Delta Epsilon Iota have proven to be the most effective arena for fulfilling the national mission. The chapter structure allows for local involvement with the campus career center and can act as a bridge between outstanding students and career services.
To highlight this organizational focus, career center staff are asked to serve in the role of Chapter Advisor and to assist students in planning career development programs and activities.
The DEI national office will work closely with the founding leadership to build a valuable campus organization that reflects the Society’s mission and ideals. Chapter officers have the opportunity to develop their leadership and organizational skills, while the advisor’s role is to provide counsel, support, and assistance as needed.
Our "Chapter Development Blueprint for Success" will guide you through the process of starting a successful new chapter. Please follow our recommended procedure carefully and thoroughly, and contact our office whenever you have questions or need help.
